Hi, this is Wayne, much of my experience is hands on and self taught, with some years of College, training in the Legal field. I worked for 15 years in the City of New York and as a Union-Delegate for a number of those years representing Correction Officers in the City's Dep't of Correction. I studied law primarily as a Legal Assistant and along with my wife, Angela, have formed this Enterprise.


Excerpt from OATH Rules of Practice -- 48 RCNY § 1-11
Section 1-11 Appearances.

(a)   A party may appear in person, by an attorney, or by a duly authorized representative. A person appearing for a party, including by telephone conference call, is required to file a notice of appearance with OATH.

12 NYCRR 460.1

Section 461.4. Conduct of hearing.


​(c)  Any party may appear in person or be represented by a lawyer or non-lawyer representative. The administrative law judge may require such appearances as determined to be necessary. All parties and their lawyer or non-lawyer representative shall have the right to call, question and cross-examine parties and witnesses. They have the right to offer relevant documents, records and other evidence which the administrative law judge may only accept into the record under the provisions of subdivision (j) of this section. Parties, or their lawyer or non-lawyer representative shall have the right to request that subpoenas be issued to require the appearance of relevant witnesses or the production of relevant documents, records or other evidence. They have the right to request a postponement of the hearing for good cause shown. ... At the end of the hearing, each party has the right to make a relevant statement to explain points which may not have been explained during the hearing.
